Materials
The Northern White Cedar is a creamy white color that blends with any decor, is naturally resistant to rot and insect damage (making it perfect for outdoor use), and weathers gracefully to a silvery gray when left untreated. It is easily stained to match any decor with quality exterior wood stains and sealants, and will not shrink or warp. Please note all log furniture is subject to the natural process of checking, which happens when wood releases moisture. This does not affect the structural performance or integrity of the wood.
The Rustic Cedar Collection is constructed from forests certified and managed under the guidelines set forth by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). FSC certification requires the implementation of long-term sustainable forest management and harvesting practices.
