Materials
To achieve the unique rustic appearance of this collection, each piece of oak is distressed, by darkening and rounding its corners and flattening or indenting its edges, and then treated with a medium-dark brown stain for a high quality finish. The slate inlays feature multiple rich colors that can vary wildly, assuring your piece of furniture will be one-of-a-kind, and are sealed in the wood to prevent cracks and debris. The dimpled knobs and pulls are black hand forged iron, and high quality waterfall glass is used throughout the collection.

The cabinet is attractive, but the glass in both of the doors is loose and rattles. I will have to find someone who can fix it, so I am disappointed.

I bought a book case and curio for my wife as a surprise after our remodel. The pieces were sound and well made. They were intended to have a rustic appearance and they fit into our motif perfectly. The delivery date and time were well-communicated and came off without any problems. The pieces were well-packed for shipping and arrived in mint condition. My only "complaints" would be that several parts that needed to be installed (pedestal feet and hardware) were taped to the bottom of the book case...we never even though to look there and the instruction sheet was a bit cryptic about their location. Once we found them, all was well with them. My wife pointed out that the glass inlay in the doors of the book case in the sales information web page appears clear glass, while what came in the case itself is obscured glass...its fine with me, but she would have preferred the clear.
