Born in the 1800s, Lupita dolls were originally made of paper mache as a substitute for more expensive porcelain dolls, and are a traditional Mexican handicraft still created today by a handful of artists.

I ordered a Lupita doll that had a significant meaning to me. I requested for packaging be marked fragile. I was assured if doll arrived damaged La Fuente, would just require a picture of damaged doll and they would ship another one. Well, no need it was packaged so carefully and arrived in PERFECT condition. This doll was even more beautiful than the picture. THANK YOU!!! Love my doll
