Materials
Following construction of a wooden under-frame, discarded copper is re-forged and hand-hammered into spectacular sheets of natural beauty. The rich colors of red, brown, orange and black are all fired directly into the re-purposed copper. As the colors are random and not controllable, every mirror frame is truly unique. Also of critical importance, the copper that covers these frames is evenly hammered at the optimal depth and spacing for preservation of the copper finish over time. The copper is then sealed with clear paste wax for extra protection.
