Eco Friendly Construction and Design - Made from antique pine in Mexico, this piece is exceptionally crafted from reclaimed wood that is up to 250 years old! The hand hammered copper laden front of the doors and drawers is also reclaimed and hand fired too. The wood was sourced from old buildings and structures in Mexico. The antique planks are revived as they are built into this beautiful piece. This reduces the pressure on local forested areas.

The wood is fumigated and milled before construction into add a few more years of life and protection from insects. This is the reason our pieces last a lifetime. We take pride and care with our work. The previously discarded copper gets re-hammered, and then, hand forged to bring out spectacular colors. It is fired in a kiln to bring out gorgeous rich tones of red, brown, orange, and black. The colors are random depending on how the copper wears and how the firing technique is applied to each piece. It ensures that each item of furniture La Fuente constructs is a truly unique, one-of-a-kind, and cannot be replicated. Finally, the beautiful copper fronts on the side board are sealed with a clear paste wax to protect it long in the future.

Possible Uses for Many Spaces - Although this piece is originally made as a sideboard for a dining area, it could be used in many other applications.
