Two Door Cabinet from our Mesquite and Pine Collection - La Fuente Imports has a wide variety of beautiful wooden furniture made from several kinds of wood. Oak, pine, and hickory are prominent wood types used throughout our collections. All of our products are one of a kind and mostly made in Mexico. One of our most striking lines of furniture is our Mesquite and Pine Collection, comprised of various furniture pieces made from both woods that gives the grouping a distinct look. These are true one of a kind pieces that you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else in the world. One of our favorites is the Two Door Cabinet piece. The contrast between the different types of wood make this piece a standout. Versatile, elegant, and practical, this cabinet is a gem.

Craftsmanship and Construction - With a Chevron design of Mesquite and Pine along the sides; and diamond type inlay on the top, drawers, and cabinet doors, this piece is very unique to say the least. The two door cabinet is completely hand made. The Mexican craftsmanship is solid and built to last. The geometrically designed mosaic feature of our cabinet was painstakingly laid out and constructed from scratch to give it a one of a kind look.

As with all of our pieces the Mesquite and Pine wood that are used during construction are completely reclaimed from abandoned and old structures in and around Mexico. The wood is carefully and meticulously fumigated, milled, and kiln dried after reclamation to purify and dry it out. This process adds resilience and gives many more years of life to the finished product.

Design Ideas- The moderate size of the piece lends it to versatility. It will easily go in most any room in your home as a great accent piece. The storage capacity lends itself to many purposes. It would go well in a rustic bedroom as a nightstand, or pair with a lamp and a comfy La Fuente chair for a decadent reading area.

You could use it in a living room or dining area as an accent table, or stand-alone piece in the hall or entryway. It has plenty of storage for just about anything you could need to put away. The eye-catching design on the cabinet doors opens to reveal a two shelf storage area perfect for photo albums and the like. There are also two drawers up top to store smaller items such as knick-knacks and books. They also have the same diamond-like pattern that softly echoes the rest of the piece.
