The production of Jesus Guerrero Santos' ceramics is carefully thought out. The forms are made by hand, the size, shape, and thickness of each item is consistent. Santos also paints each item by hand, ultimately kiln-firing them at a very high temperature to create a strong and durable finish. His unique finishes are a secret blend of ingredients that are carefully chosen, and which Santos has only shared with his sons, Adrian and Pablo Guerrero Castellanos, who have since created their own successful ceramics business in a more contemporary vein. After firing, the pieces are adorned with alpaca to create stunning and classical final designs.
