Materials
Every charming piece in our Rustic Pine Furniture Collection is produced with care from newly milled and kiln-dried Ponderosa pine. The pieces are finished with an antique brown furniture wax to accentuate the wood's natural grain, and all door and drawer pulls are hand-forged wrought iron with a chocolate finish.

- The bottom, left-side drawer of this desk is made to fit hanging files.
- *A hanging file frame is not included, but can be purchased at most office supply stores.

I placed the order was given an approximate delivery date and was thrilled when it came a week early. I was also pleasantly surprised by the reasonable shipping cost considering the size and weight. The desk is beautiful and my husband is happy with the "manly" look.

What is the finish on the desk? It looks like stain only. I want to put a sealant on so that water will not stain it. A satin polyurethane or a min wax finish. Your thoughts? the desk is fine for the price we paid. it arrived in good condition.
