Helpful Information

All our Mexican Talavera tiles are 5/16" thick. A full box in any size will cover 11 square feet.

Due to the handmade nature of Talavera, colors, designs and dimensions may vary slightly.
The appearance of small surface cracks, or crazing, is a natural characteristic of Talavera tile.

Order procedure excellent, no need for customer support at this point, definitely recommend La Fuente for tile purchases.

I am very happy with my experience with La Fuente and would definitely recommend the site to a friend. Both of my orders arrived faster than expected and all pieces were well-packaged with no shipping damage. In my first order, I ordered a sample that was not available and received a phone call the next day explaining that and giving me options to change my order. I was very impressed and pleased with such personal, quick customer service.My only complaints are1) that the 4.25x4.25 tiles are a little more than .25 in thick, whereas the 2x2 tile is just shy of .25 in thick. I expected them to be the same and the difference limits my options of how to use them together.2) some of the blue and white tiles have small spots of green paint on them.I'm still very happy with the tiles and am looking forward to using them in my home!

I orders 5 tiles to see as samples and 3 were broken...kind of a bummer given the price for the samples...I worry if I order for my project I will receive broken pieces...
