I ordered three plates to give as a Christmas gifts. Later, I was notified that one of the plates was on back order for several months, and none of the plates would ship until then unless I paid extra. Because I was unaware that the plate was on back order when I placed my order, it didn't seem fair that I would be expected to pay extra just to receive the other plates in a timely manner. I understand that orders can get backed up, but I don't believe it should be the customer's responsibility to pay extra for shipping in such instances. To the contrary, it seems appropriate for the customer to be offered an extra discount for the inconvenience of having to wait several months for their order.

Bought four different Talavera plates to add to my Mom's collection. She loved them! They were packed very well and arrived promptly and with no damage. We have large dinner parties and like to use the Talavera for special occasions. Really makes our dinning experience festive.

I loved my plates. Colors were true from the pictures on the internet. They arrived right on time with no problem. So happy noe looking for some else to buy.
