Focus on Southwest Interior Design

Southwest Décor – Maybe you've just moved into your home or possibly considering a remodeling of your kitchen or bathroom spaces. Choosing a home decorating style can create a coherent theme for your room and your home, in general, and today we are focusing on Southwest Interior Design.
An interior design style is mostly defined by a room's furnishings: the room's furniture, throw pillows, sculptures, pottery, and smaller home accessories. Yet, for the best-looking décor, you should start planning your room long before the finishing touches.
For a kitchen styled in southwest décor, hand-crafted Talavera pottery and cabinet hardware dominated by earth tones isn't going to look as sharp above a cold linoleum floor. Stone tile floors and/or countertops are going to set the foundation for your decorating scheme. Hardwood floors using wood indigenous to the southwest and ceramic tile that resembles the clay earth is also an authentic choice. Your choices for different installations aren't going to be seriously limited by the southwest décor, but you need to start planning for your decorating style long before you go shopping for dishes, bath towels, or coffee tables .
Some of La Fuente's favorite Southwest Interior Design accents include the following offerings - Southwest Wool Rug which provides an affordable entry into the world of hand-loomed textiles. Featuring numerous attractive patterns inspired by Navajo and other Native cultures, these durable wool rugs will make a welcome addition to almost any home.
Next up is our Southwest Adobe House Numbers! Hand-painted in the USA by a small, family-run business, our decorative ceramic house numbers will improve the exterior of any home. Made from thick, high fired ceramic, and with the same fade resistant and weatherproof finish as our other decorative tiles, these Southwest styled house numbers feature a classic New Mexico design and adobe background color.
Furniture is a "big" way to change up a room and add Southwest flavor. Our Sun Armoire is a beautiful piece in our Southwest Furniture Collection is hand-made in Mexico in the style of old-world craftsmen to produce warm and welcoming rustic furniture that is solidly built to last a lifetime. The reclaimed wood is milled and graded, fumigated, kiln-dried, then stained and sealed for protection. The unique texture of the wood comes from decades of natural weathering and is the basis for this stunning line of rustic furniture. You can't go wrong in your selections, just be true to what resonates with you. Your living space is a representation of you. Happy decorating!
