Handblown Lime Swirl Glassware
February 12, 2015
Lime Swirl Glassware - So maybe you have a holiday gift card lying around that you are itching to use, or maybe you are just looking for a good reason to spend some money. Well, look no further than our Lime Swirl Glassware. The lime green color is stunning and the swirl pattern looks as if each piece has been twirled violently to achieve this effect. In reality, they have been artfully crafted and designed by skilled glass blowers and designers in the heart of a tiny Mexican town.
Part of the secret lies in how these pieces are made. Each hand-blown piece comes from jelly scope, Mexico and is handcrafted there by one of their artisans. These locally skilled artisans use recycled glass that is melted, blown in the traditional glassblowing method, and shaped accordingly. The only catch is that this is all done while the glass is piping hot at 2700°F. You don't just decide to become a glassblower as a result. Each one of these artisans undergoes an apprenticeship that can take anywhere from 6 to 8 years before earning their title of Master Glassblower.
The result is you get kitchenware that is stylish and festive. Dress up your margarita, make your martini stand out, give your wine a new home with any one of a number of our stemware options. Your guests are sure to take note, and the color and pattern of each piece will lend themselves beautifully to your overall party scheme. Since each piece is hand crafted, they are similar, but unique. Subtle variations and details are found in each glass or pitcher that attest to the fact that these items are indeed handmade!
