Of course, some people will think about the whole cultural appropriation thing, as long as you don’t wear a poncho and some fake mustaches on Cinco de Mayo then it’s all good. To Appreciate Mexican Culture

If you are not Mexican and feel uneasy about wearing Mexican attire then you can still get a sombrero and put it on display with any other items that represent different cultures. Wearing something of somebody else’s culture, with the right intention and at the right time or place, does not make it offensive. Alternately, you can wear it on holiday in Mexico where the people appreciate foreigners buying their items and appreciating their culture.
