Growing up in an international city or a country other than Mexico can sometimes make you forget that Mexican culture is a normal life for some. But you don’t have to let it be that way and still embrace the Mexican culture in many ways.
Here are 5 ways on how you can still take a bit of Mexico with you or bring it in your home:
1.) Eat and Bring Others to the Table
Mexican people are very hospitable and their love for food speaks volumes in their delicious and spicy cuisine. Bring in the tortilla, quesadillas, salsa, ceviche, chili con carne, tamales, and tacos and you have a party of flavors bursting on your taste buds.
Head to your nearest authentic restaurant or make your own Mexican food to invite people over to show some great Mexican hospitality.
2.) Sing and Dance
Mariachi, salsa and tango, singing and dancing always brings life to the party and shows great Mexican pride. Put your dancing shoes on and dance away to the rhythm of the beat.
3.) Brush Up on Your Español
Living or growing up away from your homeland is not a good excuse to not brush up on your language. Even if it is just a few sentences, a little bit of practice goes such a long way.
