Merchandise Returns & Damage Replacements
Sometimes things you buy don't work exactly as you hoped, or merchandise arrives broken or damaged. While we make every effort to prevent these inconveniences, they do still occur. Please refer to the following information regarding our Damage and Returns policies.
If you are not completely satisfied with a product you have purchased from La Fuente Imports, you may return your merchandise under the terms of our 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. Any returned merchandise must be received in its original (new and undamaged) condition for a refund to be issued, so please pack all returns carefully and responsibly. Also please ensure that your return shipment is properly insured and fully trackable by the carrier you choose. If you are returning furniture, or any merchandise that was Special Order or Custom Made, restocking fees will apply.
If you have refused delivery of an order for visible damage, please call 1.888.622.0939 to arrange shipment of replacement merchandise. If you have refused delivery of an order because you no longer want the item(s), please refer to our 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee.
FedEx Shipping Damage
We use extreme care when packing our products for shipment to you. In the event that FedEx delivers your merchandise damaged, please save the damaged item(s) and packaging materials, and call us at 1.888.622.0939 within ten (10) calendar days. La Fuente Imports will file all necessary paperwork with FedEx and ship replacement merchandise to you at no cost. In some cases, customers may be asked to re-package the damaged merchandise in its original packaging materials and make the box available for inspection.
Noted Furniture/LTL Freight Damage
If you have accepted a furniture delivery or other LTL freight shipment from La Fuente and noted damage to all or part of your shipment on the delivery receipt, call us at 1.888.622.0939. In the case of noted damage, La Fuente Imports will file all necessary claims with the shipping company and send replacement merchandise to you at no cost.
Non-Noted Furniture/LTL Freight Damage
If you have accepted a furniture delivery or other LTL freight shipment from La Fuente and not noted any damage on the driver's delivery receipt, you must report the damage to us within ten (10) calendar days. The customer will be asked for photos to document the damage, and can then accept a discount based upon the extent of the damage, or exchange the damaged item(s) for the same item(s) or one(s) of equal value. Any discounts made available to the customer will be made at the sole discretion of La Fuente Imports, and all extra shipping charges for merchandise exchange, if requested, are the customer's responsibility.
Stock furniture orders are subject to a 10% restocking fee. There is no restocking fee if the order is cancelled before shipment, but once a furniture order ships from our warehouse it can no longer be cancelled. Instead, it becomes subject to our merchandise return policies.
Custom Made and Special Orders, whether for furniture or non-furniture items, are processed upon receipt. All such orders, whether cancelled before shipping or returned to our warehouse, are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
All other orders are free from restocking fees. However, once an order ships from our warehouse it can no longer be cancelled. Once an order ships, it becomes subject to our merchandise return policies.
