How to Style and Set up Your Coffee Table

A coffee table is always a must to add in a living room or lounge, but how do you make it look stylish? A coffee table is placed at a focal point in the room, so you have to make sure it looks worthy. Here are some ways you can amp up the look of your room or living space just by tweaking how you style the coffee table.

Vase

To create the perfect focal point, add a beautiful vase to the coffee table and don’t leave it empty. You can use fresh or fake flowers and can create a beautiful symmetry by adding two small vases on each side. The small vases on the side can be left empty.

Books

Coffee tables always look chic with some interesting books on the side. Opt for coffee table books and not novels. Coffee table books are comparatively larger and thicker in size and are usually on topics that can spark interesting discussions when one is entertaining guests. Follow the balance and symmetry rule again by having a book or two on each side, or alternatively, a stack of no more than 3-4 books on each side.

Add Ceramics

You can use multiple pieces of ceramic pots or one large ceramic bowl with a funky or bold design at the center of the coffee table. If your ceramic bowl is shallow, then make sure to add some potpourri to it as well.

Small Ornaments

If you want to add a more visually appealing look to your coffee table, then opt for interesting ornaments and decoration pieces such as these coconut figurines. They work as great conversation starts and add a creative touch.
