All joints are mortise and tenon, and all day bed frames are finished in a high-quality lacquer to protect and enhance the beauty of the logs.

Versatility, however, also matters, and the Northwoods Day Bed can be used both as a couch and a bed. Add an optional slide-out or pop-up trundle to sleep a guest. Both options store cleanly underneath the day bed when not in use. It's a great solution whenever additional sleeping areas are needed.

The Pine Log Collection is constructed from US-sourced knotty pine lumber and solid pine logs up to 6 inches thick. These woods produce striking, impressive furniture. Every log is hand-selected to have just the right diameter and character. The logs are then mortised, tenoned, screwed and glued together for superior craftsmanship. All logs and most rounded edges are then textured by hand with a draw knife. After staining, the pieces are finished with a high-quality poly lacquer to further protect and enhance the natural beauty of the wood.
