Southwest Furniture CollectionOur latest and arguably most impressive collection of southwestern furniture is truly a study in quality and history. The lakeside town of Patzcuaro, in the Mexican state of Michoacan, has long been considered a cultural and artisan center, where colonial buildings abound and a rich Spanish heritage has changed little since the early 1800s. The colonial and rustic styling of our Southwest Furniture Collection is quite literally a product of this setting, as the wood that is used consists of reclaimed beams, posts and planks from the area's abandoned haciendas, rural buildings, and decade-old churches. The unique textures and finish colors of every piece in this impressive collection exemplify classic Mexican furniture of the Spanish colonial era. Each unique piece in our Southwest Furniture Collection is made by hand in the style of old-world craftsmen to produce warm and welcoming furniture that is solidly built to last a lifetime. The reclaimed wood is milled and graded, fumigated, kiln-dried, then stained and sealed for protection. The unique texture of the wood comes from decades of natural weathering and is the basis for this stunning line of rustic furniture. Better yet, every piece is available in any one of 15 exclusive finish colors with matching painted interiors. Click here to read our customer testimonials. |
