Materials
Every charming piece in our Rustic Pine Furniture Collection is produced with care from newly milled and kiln-dried Ponderosa pine. The pieces are finished with an antique brown furniture wax to accentuate the wood's natural grain, and all door and drawer pulls are hand-forged wrought iron with a chocolate finish.

The product is great, very well made and beautiful; however, I was expecting the bar stools to be a little taller. I would have been happier with taller chairs, but these are beautiful.
While I was very pleased about the quality of the bar, and the professionalism of the two individuals that were employed through the white glove service to deliver it, I was very disappointed with the customer service I received when I called to address an issue. I purchased the bar and chairs two days before the 10% weekend sale, and I asked if they would honor it, and the person I contacted flatly refused. I could see if I missed the sale by ordering AFTER, but to order it a few days before and La Fuente not to honor it was very disillusioning. I mentioned that as a hotel Manager and builder that I often select unique furniture and pieces to adorn our properties, and had thought about placing future orders with La Fuente, but based on their total lack of customer service and flexibility I will be recommending another company for future purchases, both for my hotel and personal. Honestly a shame for such a small discount a company is willing to surrender future sales, but it spoke volumes.

If you have ever bought something that goes on sale the next day, you know how it can really take the wind out of your sails. Your prompt reply to my email and credit for the price change was, in my view, five star customer service.Today my furniture arrived. We only bought our home two months ago, so I painted the dining room, bought curtains, a light, and a rug. I was a bit anxious about buying my furniture on line. I put so much care into that room, I wanted it to be perfect. When the truck arrived I was very excited. As I began to tear away the cardboard, I could hardly believe my eyes. First, there was nothing to assemble. That was a blessing. Next, I began to cut away the packaging material (very well packed!) and I honestly just had to take moment to understand what I was seeing. It is SO beautiful! After so much shopping for something in my price range, I was used to seeing tables that had that "made in China" factory type feel. I was taken back by the look of hand made craftsmanship. Everything feels so solid and well constructed, and the detail is amazing. I was concerned about the two benches. The picture on line made me wonder if they would be sturdy enough for our grown boys who are both around 250 pounds. I felt that maybe the benches were more accent pieces than daily use furniture. I was so pleasantly surprised to see the solid construction. The thick supports really don't come across in the on line pictures.Another thing I really loved about my experience was how I could mix and match the pieces I wanted. I'm attaching a pic you you can see the space I had to work with. It is a narrow, oddly shaped room. Using the two benches was perfect for me, they tuck right out of the way so the space doesn't look crowded. The chairs with the arms are far wider and more substantial than I expected. I think my husband will truly feel like the king of his castle sitting in that chair at the head of the table. Also, we have a small bar between the living room and the kitchen. It's only about 10 feet from the dining room. I was able to get two barstools from the same collection that match perfectly! I shopped for two months before I found your website. It's not easy to find all the pieces I wanted that would match so nicely. It really looks like an artist custom crafted this furniture for me.In today's world of over priced cheaply made particle board furniture, I feel so good about this purchase. The price was very fair and I know this will last my family for many years.
