Description
Traditional Mexican nichos are considered household altars and usually depict religious figures such as the Virgin of Guadalupe or patron saints, but can vary with other themes like Day of the Dead and Loteria. They are used as shrines for protection or devotional objects, and are therefore expertly handmade from tin and glass with beautifully painted depictions.
Helpful Information
- Due to the handmade nature of indigenous folk art, colors and design may vary slightly.
- Includes a kick stand on the back for display as a picture frame, and a metal loop for easy wall display.
- Made in Mexico of heavy gauge punched tin and glass.
