Calavera Catrina Carved Relief Painting
|
|
Description
Every charming wooden panel in our Carved Relief Collection is lovingly handmade by master artisans in Guanajuato, Mexico. The art form begins by exquisitely carving a traditional design in bas-relief, then painting the textured surface in striking colors. The three-dimensional aspect of the bent and angled wood provides a different look from every angle, and adds immensely to the unique appeal of the artwork. The calming images of rural Mexican life will infuse charm and beauty anywhere in your home.
Available in four different sizes by Special Order, below.
Materials
Every painting in our Carved Relief Collection is made from wood sourced only from forests certified and managed under the guidelines set forth by CERTFOR and endorsed by PEFC. Certification requires the implementation of long-term sustainable forest management and harvesting practices that conserve biodiversity, reduce carbon expenditures and respect indigenous cultures.
