Description
This charming clay figurine was made by hand in the state of Puebla, Mexico. It is representative of El Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), an annual celebration held every November in the villages of Mexico. Communities gather in local cemeteries to honor departed loved ones and to celebrate the joy of living. Altars are constructed and filled with offerings for the dead, such as flowers, liquor, candy and food. These skeletons or "calacas" are meant to depict a joyful and active afterlife, and can be used as decoration for your own Halloween or Day of the Dead celebrations.

I ordered Day of the Dead figures. Customer Service: La Fuente's very cordial representative contacted me immediately to let me know that some of the items were not available and whether I wanted to make substitutions. The figures arrived, packed carefully, and were of the best quality of any figures I've found over the years. I will definitely order again from La Fuente.
