Description
This charming clay figurine was made by hand in the state of Puebla, Mexico. It is representative of El Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), an annual celebration held every November in the villages of Mexico. Communities gather in local cemeteries to honor departed loved ones and to celebrate the joy of living. Altars are constructed and filled with offerings for the dead, such as flowers, liquor, candy and food. These skeletons or "calacas" are meant to depict a joyful and active afterlife, and can be used as decoration for your own Halloween or Day of the Dead celebrations. Please Choose an Item

I bought my mother a couple items for Mother's Day. She loves em!! Especially the mother and child day of the dead doll. It is now a treasured addition to her collection.
I was delighted with the Dia de los Muertes figures I ordered. They were just as described and make wonderful additions to my collection. They arrived within just a few days -- before I was even expecting them. I love La Fuente!
