Description
The log trestle style table is a stunning design that will draw attention to any rustic dining area. These tables are impressive and very durable. The true beauty and character of this table is the top, which has laminated strips of knotty pine to ensure that it will not warp or crack. Each table top is 2 1/2" thick and has draw-knifed edges to give each piece its own rustic signature. The table legs are made from three, four and six inch pine logs and are tucked under the center area of the table to allow chairs and benches to be completely pushed under the table when not being used. The legs are also hand draw-knifed and are attached to the top using a mortise and tenon joint. Each unit is finished in a 4-coat catalyzed lacquer giving it a moisture resistant finish.
The Log Dining Room Table is available in many sizes to suit your dining room perfectly. Available in a Clear Finish that highlights the untouched beauty of the knotty pine, or a Honey Finish for a warmer, welcoming look. Materials
The Pine Log Collection is constructed from pine peeler cores, which often remain unused in the lumber business. The re-purposed peeler cores produce striking, impressive furniture. Every log is hand-selected to have just the right diameter and character. The logs are then mortised, tenoned, screwed and glued together for superior craftsmanship. After staining, a final coat of clear lacquer is added to further protect and enhance the natural beauty of the logs.
