Copper Furniture Collection

High in the mountains of south-central Mexico, in the village of Villa Escalante, Old World craftsmanship is used to hammer and form recycled copper using methods developed centuries before the Spanish conquerors arrived. The fire is stoked as copper wire and tubing is recycled by being melted into ingots, allowed to cool, then repeatedly heated red-hot and hammered in rapid harmony by skilled coppersmiths using hammer and anvil. The copper is gradually flattened into the proper size and shape. This incredibly labor intensive process is proudly practiced only by the artisans in Villa Escalante. Be sure you are purchasing the original and finest copper furniture from Mexico!
