Description

The Northwoods Bed is hand hewn or draw knifed to give it its unique character. The bed is constructed of three inch logs that are mortised, tenoned, screwed and glued together. The double side rails ensure that the bed is sturdy and solid. Available in a Clear Finish that highlights the untouched beauty of the knotty pine, or a Honey Finish for a warmer, welcoming look. Materials

The Pine Log Collection is constructed from pine peeler cores, which often remain unused in the lumber business. The re-purposed peeler cores produce striking, impressive furniture. Every log is hand-selected to have just the right diameter and character. The logs are then mortised, tenoned, screwed and glued together for superior craftsmanship. After staining, a final coat of clear lacquer is added to further protect and enhance the natural beauty of the logs.

Helpful Information

Available in two finish choices: Clear or Honey.
Made from select "Grown in the USA" pine lumber.
Finished with moisture resistant catalyzed lacquer.
Optional bed drawers are 13" high and built into the bottom of the bed. The Twin bed has 2 drawers on one side. The Full, Queen and King beds have 2 drawers on each side (4 drawers total).
All drawers use side mount, epoxy coated, 3/4 extension slides rated for 100 pounds.
All drawer boxes are solid aspen with dovetail construction.
Some assembly required. Instructions and hardware are included.
