These wonderful and super unique Day of the Dead figures come from the Befina art studio in Leon, Mexico. In business since 1986, Befina produces artisanal paper mache figures that capture the best in Mexican folklore. Our collection of Befina figures are almost life-like (not bad for being dead!), with fine details in both color and design.

*** was very pleasant but unfortunately when we opened the box you packed just one day prior to our departure to London on American Airlines, the head piece for the woman was not in the box. More unfortunately, because we unpacked the contents to study the inventory we cannot get it back in the box in the secure way it was packed by you all to send it to us in Texas. I am very concerned that the contents will be damaged. In addition, our gift to dear friend for her once in a lifetime 50th birthday party will be incomplete.We are discouraged. *** behaved very appropriately, but unfortunately that doesn't change the situation we are dealing with.
