Description
These elaborate carved representations of Mexico's most famous religious icon, the Virgin de Guadalupe, have long been used in Mexico's churches and on altars. Each handmade Virgin de Guadalupe has been beautifully adorned with tiny silver figures known as "milagros". The numerous tiny images nailed into each piece represent prayers and thanks for life's tiny miracles and gifts of heaven.
