The Starburst Bed is a mark above excellent craftsmanship. Being a heavy log bed made of knotty pine, just looking at the Starburst makes you feel as if you are sleeping in the North Woods. This bed, as well as the Northwoods case goods pictured, are all hand knifed to give each piece a uniquely different look. All pieces are solid pine, making this bed and furniture group a lumberman's dreams. Available in a Clear Finish that highlights the untouched beauty of the knotty pine, or a Honey Finish for a warmer, welcoming look. Materials
The Pine Log Collection is constructed from pine peeler cores, which often remain unused in the lumber business. The re-purposed peeler cores produce striking, impressive furniture. Every log is hand-selected to have just the right diameter and character. The logs are then mortised, tenoned, screwed and glued together for superior craftsmanship. After staining, a final coat of clear lacquer is added to further protect and enhance the natural beauty of the logs.

Optional bed drawers are 13" high and built into the bottom of the bed. The Twin bed has 2 drawers on one side. The Full, Queen and King beds have 2 drawers on each side (4 drawers total).
All drawers use side mount, epoxy coated, 3/4 extension slides rated for 100 pounds.
All drawer boxes are solid aspen with dovetail construction.
