Description

Our Executive Desk with Drawer really makes a statement. Its impressive size supplies a huge work surface. The desk features a center pencil drawer, four standard-sized drawers and an extra-large file drawer* to hold office supplies and important documents. The drawers feature hand-forged iron hardware, plus their beveled edges match the beveled side and back panels. Southwestern styling around the bottom casting completes the rustic look, which complements any home or office decor. Handmade in Mexico.

Materials

Every charming piece in our Rustic Pine Furniture Collection is produced with care from newly milled and kiln-dried Ponderosa pine. The pieces are finished with an antique brown furniture wax to accentuate the wood's natural grain, and all door and drawer pulls are hand-forged wrought iron with a chocolate finish.

The bottom, left-side drawer of this desk is made to fit hanging files.
*A hanging file frame is not included, but can be purchased at most office supply stores.
Made from solid Ponderosa pine (no laminates, particle board, or veneers).

What is the finish on the desk? It looks like stain only. I want to put a sealant on so that water will not stain it. A satin polyurethane or a min wax finish. Your thoughts? the desk is fine for the price we paid. it arrived in good condition.
