Helpful Information

When used outdoors, elevate Talavera planters at least 1" off the ground with pot feet or a planter stand. Ensure all drainage holes are clear of any debris that could prevent water flow.
Talavera planters should be moved indoors if temps have the potential to drop below freezing.
Due to the handmade nature of Talavera, colors and design may vary slightly.

I was very pleased after receiving the pottery except that one pot had a chip at the bottom. I do not believe the chip came from shipping as there was no damage to the box and everything was very well packed in bubble wrap. It is my believe that La Fuente did not inspect the pots before they were shipped. I did not complain to the company because it is not worth my time and trouble.But for the chipped pot, they would have received 5 starts. I ordered 4 pots. Two are quite beautiful and different from what one normally finds. Two are typical, but I knew that. I believe it is one of the typical pots that has the chip.

I was completely satisfied with this experience. Everything arrived as expected. It was VERY WELL wrapped in bubble wrap again and again. Don’t be surprised if you have to go through 5-8 layers of good bubble wrap. The pieces are signed by the artists. I was very pleased about that. They already are being used and appear to have no defects.

The service was good. I got the flower pots pretty quickly. However, the quality of the products was very poor. The patterns were poorly drawn and short of one layer of glaze. The rims are misshaped (i.e. not round). Please let the manufacturer know.

I was in search of a pot to replace my broken Talavera pot that I had had for a number of years. I could not locate the vendor. so I decided to try La Fuente. The pots I received, which looked beautiful in the photos, were very poorly painted and poorly made. Nothing like the one I lost which was beautifully painted and of exceptional quality. i was disappointed. On the positive side, the pots were packaged with great care for shipment.

I ordered several Talavera items from La Fuente for Christmas gifts and, I swear, they arrived on my front porch almost before I got my order in & went on to other matters. I don't know how they got my things here so fast! And when I opened up the box, everything was packed excellently so of course there wasn't a chip or crack on any of these delicate items. ALL my orders with La Fuente have arrived astonishingly quick & well packaged. Also everything I've ordered has been gorgeous-- even prettier than what the photos show. P.S. I have no interest in this company but my review is just my sincere feeling that this is a top company who ships lovely items, quickly & packaged very well.
