All our Mexican Talavera tiles are 5/16" thick. A full box in any size will cover 11 square feet.

Due to the handmade nature of Talavera, colors, designs and dimensions may vary slightly.
The appearance of small surface cracks, or crazing, is a natural characteristic of Talavera tile.

I love the tiles I purchased from La Fuente. This is my second order. I placed several tiles in a dirt strip in front of two benches. They add a beautiful pop of color and visitors in my garden always comment on how beautiful the tiles are and how much color they add. I bought more tiles to add to different areas.

I am very satisfied with my experience. The website was easy to navigate as was ordering the products. I ordered Talavera tile and a few of them were broken when they arrived. The packaging was really well done so I don't think La Fuente was at fault. The amount of tiles I ordered versus the few that were broken is negligible. I contacted the company and they are sending me replacement tiles at no charge. I would highly recommend La Fuente and will use them again in the future if I am looking for items like what they sell!

Ordering was easy and the products came in fast. I would say 80% of the tiles were good and the rest were warped from baking or they were not accruate sizes. Keep in mind that they are all hand made so each tile is slightly different. I managed to make it work for our backsplash

We ordered samples of several tiles in the Talavera line. Customer service was great and the tiles were painstakingly packed. Still somehow, one broke but I cannot fault the packer. These things happen. La Fuente is heads and shoulders above their fellow Mexican Tile retailers. I highly recommend.

The items that I ordered from La Fuente are all beautiful. I made two orders, including one large planter pot, three medium pots, a small pot, two wall hangings, and a tile. These pots are more attractive than what I could find locally in their quality and the esthetics of the painting. For that reason, I continue to order from La Fuente, even though it involves shipping. My first order came very quickly, in less than a week. The second order was delayed by several days, since one item was backordered and La Fuente needed to communicate with me about it. The packaging was very secure, and as someone commented, it is rather a workout to get the larger items unpacked. However, it is very rewarding to see these beautiful ceramic pieces in my house and garden!

Attractive Talavera tiles at an appealing price. Quick processing and delivery. Unfortunately, 7 of the 58 tiles (12 % of the order) were cracked.....not just chipped, but broken into two pieces. All but one of the broken tiles were at the bottom of the carton, and there were no fragments from breaking in the packing materials, suggesting that the tiles might have been broken before being placed in the shipping carton. No way to prove this, of course, but the amount of breakage and the absence of fragments in the shipment seem strange.We had no time flexibility on our project, so for now we had to use the broken tiles. We haven't yet contacted La Fuente to see what they might be willing to do about this.We would urge caution in dealing with this company.

Customer Rep were pleasant, but the order procedure was chaotic.I have ordered particular Telavera tiles, which I chose on the computer.Customer Rep accepted order.I have sent my order with numbers and sizes.Then after a few days she stated that my favorite tiles were sold .She stated that she put them away and somebody took them from the box ???.This shows lack of professionalism. I have to substitute many tiles for " similar " ones.

I ordered a variety of travertine tile from this company because of the huge variety to pick from. My 90 year old Dad can sit and do projects - so he is covering a wall in my small bathroom in these handmade tile.I ordered over 80 and they can wrapped and packaged very safely. Each tile has different colors and I love the look of a sampler wall.Previously, I ordered a sink from another on line company, but you have a much wider selection - wish I saw you first.I will order more for his next project.

We ordered 20 tiles, but only received 19 tiles. Customer service otherwise was GREAT!! Last minute order on a Friday... got it to FEDEX so we could get on Monday (FEDEX was expensive)... but that's another issue. I would use them again.

I purchased Mexican tiles. Unfortunately, the glazed surfaces are covered with invisible cracks, which become horribly visible when thsy come in contact with any standard grout. The installer stopped when he realized what was happening. The affected tiles, of course, had to be ripped out and replaced. A specialty grout had to be used thereafter. When I contacted customer service to inform them of this problem, I was told that they had never heard of this happening before. I'm afraid that is not believable. By the way, two coats of sealer prior to grouting made absolutely no difference. In short, I'm not happy with my experience.
